Some of your observations are absolutely brilliant — and the touches of humor add much, as well! I will definitely read more of your work. I also reviewed “A Moveable Feast” on my book blog last year if you want to compare notes: https://regarp.com/2017/08/26/review-of-a-moveable-feast-the-restored-edition-by-ernest-hemingway/ ]

Hemingway absolutely doesn’t romanticize me the way Fitzgerald has so many times. However, that is the beauty of the two brilliant writers, they are completely different in style, choice of characters, and symbolism. And yet, they are clearly best friends. They share something that many will never understand or experience. The kind of closeness that allow the other to feel comfortable even in the most vulnerable of positions. Love means being able to be at your most vulnerable without feeling exposed, instead you feel alive and free.
